These places even have ‘imported girls’ and have prostitutes of different nationalities.
Ancoland Bongkaran are other red light areas in Jakarta known for cheap prostitution. Owing to the low cost of places to live in, Bongkaran has about 300 prostitutes living in the area and enjoys an influx of customers each day. Other places can include Pluit, Taman Anggrek and Permata Hijau.

Prostitute,  An old Occupation

Prostitutes are commonly found in Blok M, North Jakarta and hotel bars. Some say that if you are in Jakarta and witness girls seated on the back of a scooter during odd hours at night, you may have spotted a high school sex worker.

In contrary to popular belief, prostitution in Indonesia is not simply due to sex tourism. One of the world’s oldest occupations, prostitution is common among all classes of Indonesians. With only a handful of clubs being an exception, girls who come across are usually prostitutes, whether on contract or on freelance. Underage and attractive girls in Jakarta have become an easy find which is a major motivator for the consistency in the existence of sex hotspots in the city. Recently, popular social media networking site, Facebook has been used for marketing of the service as well.

Bodhgaya transcends beyond beliefs and offers blessings to one and all in its special way. The location is the proud bearer of Buddhist legacy as the site of Buddha's enlightenment. The trees, soil, temple, fluttering prayer flags, and the 80 ftlong Buddha statue - all illustrate the same spirit, essence and profound impact of the spiritual master on this destination. A lot more counts while a tourist explores this splendidly sacred Buddhist heritage site. Located 15 km away from Gaya, Bodhgaya has a serene influence that captivates tourists and pilgrims alike while exploring the destination.
The visitors come to Bodhgaya to seek awakening by sitting under the Bodhi tree. It is the same tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment twenty five centuries ago. The tree is seen as a sign of relief and an inspiration to one and all who want to follow the Buddha and achieve awakening. Even to this date, followers can interpret what it actually means when one sits for meditation under this blissfully sacred tree. It is a divine experience to spend few minutes sitting in a meditation pose under the hallowing shade of Bodhi tree.

Known to the world as a heritage site, Mahabodhi Temple is the spiritual centerpiece of Bodhgaya which is deeply connected to Lord Buddha’s life and teachings. Apart from its religious associations, the temple is a great example of Asokan architecture. Built entirely in brick, the temple’s sculpted stone balustrades are an outstanding early example of sculptural reliefs.

Almost every Buddhist devotee wants to sit under the shade of Bodhi Tree. Just to experience the spiritual calm, surrender and awakening as Buddha himself experienced 2600 years ago. Botanically a Banyan Tree, Mahabodhi Tree shelters every spiritual soul under its soothing shade. Presently, the fifth generation of the original tree blesses the center of spirituality.

The Bangkok Sex Industry & World Tourism....

Want To Have Some Fun Visit Bangkok !!!

Thailand, a country inhabited by an estimated sixty-four million people, consists of a predominantly Buddhist population (95%). The minor religions include Muslim (3.8%), Christianity (0.5%), Hinduism (0.1%), and others (0.6%). Three-fourths of the people are indigenous to Thailand, 14% are Chinese and 11% are of various ethnic backgrounds. Although agriculture is the nation’s leading occupation (54%), the service industry—which includes sexual services—accounts for 31% of all occupations, and industry follows at 15%.

Sex Industry in Bangkok
Although prostitution has been illegal in Thailand since 1960, it has grown rapidly over the past few decades. Perhaps the most influential factor in this growth has been the US Rest and Recreation stops for GI’s that were located in Thailand in the 1970’s. Today, it is estimated that the prostitution industry brings in anywhere from 2.5-4 billion dollars each year and employs about 200,000 people.

Organization, Locations, and Businesses Involved
Although most workers are women, there are some men and children involved in the sex trade. Most of the women in the industry are only there temporarily. They usually get involved in the business through a friend or relative in Bangkok, partially motivated by financial reasons. As sex workers, they earn more money than they would in most available jobs. Other workers are looking for emotional security or an escape from an abusive relationship at home. Many come from the countryside and despite misconceptions amongst the general public, most workers are not sold into the industry but enter under their own.

The organization of the industry varies. There are many local brothels, or prostitute houses, as well as other venues that offer sexual services. These include, but are not limited to, hotels, go-go bars, restaurants, karaoke bars, dance clubs, and organized sex tours. There are also streetwalking “free-lance” workers and those who work under a pimp. Much of this business is focused around Bangkok in the Patpong, Soi Cowboy, and the Nana Entertainment Plaza areas. However, there are also brothels in the countryside and other areas in Thailand, such as Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, and Hat Yai.

SexTourism
It is highly supported by foreign tourists, who are able to spend more money. Eighty-nine percent of tourists that come to Bangkok are male; most travel from countries such as Japan, Germany, Western Europe, and the United States. Today, much of the advertising for Bangkok is geared towards white-collar corporate businessmen from the West, who come on business trips which usually provide sex package tours at night.

Tour & Travel pakage
Travel agencies design sex package tours as a type of work incentive for firms. These are convenient and include airfare, ground transportation, local guides, sightseeing, and an unlimited number of girls at one’s command. Hotels include meeting rooms for when “night life spills into the workday,” and rooms adjoin restaurants for customers who don’t want to take a waitress back to their hotel. Some hotels have personal prostitutes available upon order, and some even offer to rent out wives for their long-term guests.

Huge mistake can be happen, And now, most recently, I took a non-stop flight from New Delhi to Bangkok on AirAsia and my brand new checked luggage has been missing for more than 2 months now.
The airline was convinced that my bag is still in New Delhi, but they have no confirmation to prove this. I can be patient, and I can wait, but it would be nice to know exactly where in the world my bag went and where it is ?
So in the meantime I'll continue my attempts to track it down on my own, I'll hold my breath, and I'll try not to stress and freak out.

Please keep in mind that your checked luggage will definitely be out of your sight at times. I only speak from experience when I tell you to think and pack like a traveller, and not like a vacation er or someone going on a holiday.
