Scotland the Land of Islands.....

Scotland has excellent landscapes and beautiful lakes.

But the good thing is that it is also very cheap, and what it has to offer comparatively is very, very expensive in terms of quality and tourism.
When you go to Scotland you see such heavenly spectacles, that you tend to realize that you are in a perfect world. The clouds, sky and the greenery is of concentrated color. All this you can enjoy at a very comfortable price. Scotland is a place ideal for tourism and to tour its' multi-colored terrain is an absolute necessity. At a reasonable fare, the tourist enjoys and takes a ride on buses and ferries taking him/her to passes and islands. It has the advantage of being part of the United Kingdom and the British Isles, and also an added attraction which is being cheapest country to travel to. Any traveller would say that Scotland has the best to offer in the category of beautiful lakes, mountains and even unusual passes.

Affordable restaurants and diners are everywhere, with the polite Scottish hospitality. In Scotland fresh and excellent seafood is available, everywhere. Salmon is a special fish and also a delicacy. It is recommended along with
other sea creatures which the Scottish waters have to offer. Other nationalities and their foods are also to be found here. There is also a very exquisite Scottish Black pudding, and other local puddings. Pies are also on the menu and they are also worth eating. All these at cheap rates can be had off the shelf.

A great island to explore is the Isle of Mull. You can even stay on this beautiful island in hostels provided by the government. We can safely say that the number of the islands is uncountable. Now every traveller has his own pace. The good thing to do would be to hire a holiday rental over multiple nights at B&Bs. The B&Bs have quite a reputation within and throughout Scotland. These places are great and even give you hearty breakfasts, and the cost not to worry about. The travellers' surprise is that Scotland has around 800 islands. One of the important things to do in Scotland is to do hiking and sight-seeing on these islands. And all these activities can be enjoyed at an affordable amount. Unique as they are each island is like a different adventure.

This place surely is one of the cheapest countries to travel to when it comes to history. Cheap tour packages taking you to the remnants of the Scottish freedom wars and battles can be availed. The overwhelming medieval castles can be visited depicting their terrifying ages.
The jungles and forests of Scotland have rare animals and birds not to be found anywhere else. There are many land animals like the Red deer or the beautiful red squirrel which are to be spotted. The adventurer would think for a moment that the scenes he is witnessing are far greater than what he is paying. Also, the hills of Scotland have very rare types of animals. Golden Eagles can be seen flying and they are also a special kind of a bird. Surely Scotland is the best country and the cheapest.

It is important for the traveller's knowledge that items like fuel and vegetables are more costly in small Scottish cities. Due to the low tourist budget it is known as one of the cheapest countries to travel to, in Europe. Things like conveyance are easy to manage on your purse. Book your flights to Scotland with Fareoair  in less price.

Enjoy The Great Indian Summer with Summer Travel Tips .......

I don’t even have to emphasise the need for these accessories. Just a few pointers here:
a) Needless to say, the sun-glasses should be 100% UV protected. Of course, there’s a plethora of fancy brands available for the fashion conscious.
b) Avoid tight baseball caps as the heat will give way to a sweaty scalp and what does sweaty scalp cause? Dandruff! Instead, try the general cowboy hats that are light on the head and airy too.
c) Many among us are not in the habit of using sunscreen lotion. Even I wasn’t. In fact I still hate it but it is a must, like a bad medicine. Else not only will you come back home a thousand shades darker (this means a lot in a country obsessed with fairness creams) but constant exposure of the skin to direct and harsh sunlight also causes skin cancer. Other than that, you may also experience sunburn and rapid ageing of the skin. Also the sun screen lotion needs to be applied at least 45 minutes before you step out into the sun and the ritual needs to be repeated every 3 hrs. I hate this but it really helps.

There is only one answer to India’s summer woes when it comes to what one should wear – Cotton. And preferably light coloured with full sleeves. Here’s one more advice: Avoid technical fabrics like polyester, lycra, nylon and the dry-fit ones that promise to keep you dry. They might work in controlled environments like an air conditioned mall but when you’re out there in the sun, they’re some of the most uncomfortable fabrics that you can wear. Stick to lightweight cotton, period.

Yes, your read that right. The Gamucha is a thin towel used generally in the eastern parts of India i.e. Bihar, Jharkhand, U.P and Bengal. But it’s the most wonderful piece of garment that you can carry on your travels. The best part about the gamucha is that it dries within minutes after getting wet and is easy to store and carry anywhere you go. The gamucha can double as your scarf if you wish to cover your face and a thousand times better than those wet tissues that end up making the skin sticky. The best part is that it dries in about 20-30minutes flat after a wash. Go for it!

The air-conditioner is no more a luxury at least in urban India. Most luxury buses these days are air-conditioned  and from what I have noticed from my travels is that people are now willing to pay more for their bus tickets if they’re promised a comfortable ride. Travelling in AC buses not only preserves your energy but makes the journey all the more pleasant.

There is a reason why the tickets of early morning and late night buses are priced higher than those that are scheduled for later in the day. That’s because people prefer to travel early mornings or late evenings to avoid the piping hot Sun. You should do that too.

One of the worst things about travel in India is the unreliable quality of water. Forget the foreign tourists even us natives are at times caught off guard and struggle with bouts of dysentery once in a while. And the quality of water only worsens in the summers. Keep a few tabs of your trusted medicine like I keep a strip of Enteroquinol always with me.

While the sun may dissuade us at every passing hour on hot summer days, the long season comes with its own share of delights.  I’m particularly fond of the Lassi and always keep an eye for quality lassi counters wherever I go. For example, Kailash Lassi is one joint where I make it a point to stop by whenever I have to catch a bus to Pune or somewhere else from Dadar East. Among sherbets, you’ll find the ubiquitous nimbu-paani wallah everywhere. Just ensure that the quality of water is up to the mark. Some even use Bisleri bottles! Also don’t forget sipping water all the time. This keeps you cool.

The summer evenings in India have a charm of its own. Don’t stay put in your hotel and instead step out for a walk. There is bound to be a garden nearby or just a lonely road somewhere. Walk, sit, ruminate or just admire the light and feel of the environment at dusk. Once in awhile it’s ok!!!

While Booking Hotel! Keep These Important Points in Mind...

When you are on holiday, and going to a book a hotel room, what are those things that you should keep a note of? People generally visit places that they are unfamiliar of. Therefore, it is paramount to pick a renowned or reputable hotel, which is safe for stay over, when you are on holiday. There are many factors that you should consider when you are going to book a hotel or restaurant -

1. Reputation -
Most people book hotel rooms, right after their ticket gets confirmed. They generally do it through their travel agent or from internet. Well, if you are also going to book your hotel room from the internet, it is advisable to do a little research to check the reputation of the hotel. You can easily find other customers' feedback on their social network links. If you are booking a hotel through an agent, then also it would be prudent to ensure the reputation of the hotel where you are going to stay. After all, safety is your foremost concern; and you would never want to stay at a place that other customers are complaining about.
2. Purpose of visiting the city or place
You should also consider why you want to visit a specific travel destination. For beach? Or for jungle? Whatever your personal reasons are, you should try to find a hotel, which is located in proximity to the key attraction of the city. Staying in a seaside or beach view hotel has a charm of its own. In addition, it would be quite convenient, as well. Similarly, staying in a mid-forest guest house, if you are touring to the city for jungle, would be a great thrill.
3. Food & Meal- Apart from sites that you visit, food is the element or essence of the city that impresses you the most. There are many foodies/travellers out there, who scan through the globe just in search of quality food. When booking a hotel, it is recommendable to check the menus of their kitchens. Star ranked hotels have the best cuisines and services; you should ensure that the hotel you are going to book serves your desired cuisine.

4. Hygiene - Who wants to enjoy his/her holiday in an unhygienic environment? Nobody does. There are many hotels and lodges that offer you unhygienic, dirty rooms. The room fare in such hotels is significantly low, in comparison to that of star category hotels. You should never book a hotel room, just because it is cheap. You want to spend a 'quality' time on your holiday. And 'quality' never comes at cheap rates.

Factors Considers for Buying or Renting Charted Boats...

There are thousands of boats around the globe available for charter. If you narrow your choices to bareboat or crewed charter, select the type of boat, size of boat and other extra features, choosing the destination and time of year, finding the right charter boat becomes easy. Large charter companies often have a fleet of charter boats from a few leading models and builders. They opt for the select models because their quality has been tested to withstand the test of time. The factors to consider when choosing a charter boat include:
Many people avoid extensive use of the boats and high engine hours. However, boats that just sit around and do nothing have as many problems. Therefore, when shopping for a charter boat, find out how often maintenance is performed. Some of the charter companies insist on the inspection of the prop, the system and the hull for every charter that returns, while other companies keep a maintenance log for every system on the boat. Nevertheless, it is important to get as much information as you can possibly get about the maintenance of the boat. Furthermore, find out about any serious damage to the structure and systems. A charter company should be able to disclose information where a particular boat has run up a reef and is now patched.

The phase-out is a very critical aspect in the life of any charter boat. This has to do with the systematic process of maintaining all the equipment and systems. It is obvious that a boat can never be made new. However, the necessary repairs and replacement can be performed on the boat during the phase-out in order to bring it back to a fair wear & tear condition. Any reputable company will be able to provide you with a copy of the phase-out maintenance. This will help you see all the areas that have been inspected and repaired.
You can buy a charter boat from an individual or a charter company. If you contact an experienced yacht agent, he will be able to connect you to the right people. They will oversee the process of ensuring you get what you are looking for. He will provide references you can contact in order to find out their experience in the hands of the seller. However, regardless of whom you are buying from, it is advisable to hire the services of an independent surveyor who will be able to undertake a thorough inspection. He should be ready to check the engine, climb up the mast and be present for haul out.

islands stands unique for its glistering silver sand beaches, exuberant verdure and incredible abundance of Coral Reefs. The rich history and splendid serenity of these tropical Coral islands are sure to present you with unforgettable moments which can be cherished forever.

Hotels, Restro & Bars are also not more expensive in these islands, even most people come to island are bachelor & they enjoy night life on islands, which is also cheap & you can get girls at low cost, but the best way is to book the tour packages accourding to ur time & money on internet. Main Food of islands is fish, you can more than 50 variety of fish cooking & served here.

Lakshadweep turns your moments magical with the entertainment and experience it offers. Resting on the sandy beaches under the caressing warmth of sun, listening to the music of water when it tries to embrace the shores, looking at the endless sea which merge with the horizon, travelling into the abundant marine life under the azure water etc can make you long for a return to this ‘Aquatic Paradise of India’.

The Tourism sector in Lakshadweep is from From 1956 but there was no ship nor any mechanized vessels operating between the Islands and mainland to carry even the local passengers. It was in the year 1962 that a small ship 'M.V. Sea fox' having a capacity to carry just 12 pax was introduced. There was no building nor any infrastructure available to carryout tourism activities in this Union Territory. In the year 1974 a full fledged all-weather ship. M.V. Amindivi , joined the fleet changed the very face of journey in the Islands. This was the first all weather ship and was a great relief that prior to Amindivi very small ships including M.V. Laccadives having capacity to carry 47 pax was not sufficient for the movement of passengers. The coming of Amindivi and two all weather ships M.V. Bharatseema and M.V. TipuSultan during 1988 created a favourable condition for the movement of tourists. Two small ships M.V. Minicoy & M.V. Amindivi joined the fleet recently has helped the movement of tourists further.

Tourism is one of the few areas in Lakshadweep which can play a vital role in generating income, employment and over all development of islands. Recognizing vast tourism potential, a humble beginning was made in 1974 and one of the uninhabited island Bangaram was opened for International Tourism. The Hotel Corporation of India was looking after the affairs of Bangaram island resort up to 1982. The tourists on those days were coming by ship Amindivi. During 1978-tourists came by chartered ship 'M.S. Europa'. But in the absence of a permanent set up, the flow of tourists were not encouraging. After the Hotel Corporation of India wound up their business the SPORTS was directly dealing with the tourist activities both Indian and foreign. The Casino Group of hotels, Cochin entered the field of Lakshadweep Tourism through a lease deed dated 22nd October 1988 with SPORTS for operating the Bangaram Island Resort. Encouraged by the Bangaram experiment, the Lakshadweep administration has gone ahead with Tourism promotion in the Islands of Kavaratti, Kadmat, Kalpeni and Minicoy were opened for domestic tourists in 1983.

The policy of the Administration for the promotion of Tourism in the islands is designed on the basis of the recommendation of Island Development Authority. Since the carrying capacity of these tiny islands has to be kept in mind, any activities related with Tourism has to be carried out with utmost care. This has stressed the necessity of preventing environmental imbalance arising out Tourism and has recommended sea based Tourism so as to ensure that land resources are not over taxed. Therefore the domestic tourists are brought by ship and the night halt of tourists are arranged in such way that they are boarded from the islands before night taking in to account carrying capacity of the islands and shortage of essential items including drinking water. The experiment of day tourism has been found quite successful. International tourists to Bangaram are brought by flight from Kochi to Agatti, the nearest Island to Bangaram which is having an Airport.

SPORTS( Society for promotion of Nature Tourism and Sports) has been recognized as a nodal agency for the promotion of tourism in Lakshadweep. It has got its staff trained in various disciplines of water sports. In the absence of any restaurants in Lakshadweep, this SPORTS has been running restaurants for the tourists in every tourists focal Islands. The SPORTS operate a number of tourist packages to Lakshadweep.

Visit Heritage City of World Jaipur India.......

Jaipur is capital of state of Rajasthan, is one of the well-planned cities of its time. Jaipur was established by the then Maharaja, Sawai Jai Singh in the year 1927. Jaipur was planned by Vidhyadhar Bhattacharya, a Bengali architect, in a grid system with wide straight avenues, roads, streets and lanes and uniform rows of shops on either side of the main bazaars, all arranged in nine rectangular city sectors. The city itself is an attractive creation worthy of universal admiration. Attractive monuments where one can breathe the fragrance of history. Comfortable and luxurious hotels, once the proud of kings, parks, gardens, and excursions of nearby places of interest, make Jaipur a tourist paradise. The graceful architecture of the City that runs across in pink colour has earned Jaipur the title of 'The Pink City'. Jaipur is predominantly known for its musicians, artisans and craftsmen.

Jaipur Heritage City – Places andMonuments

Hawa Mahal

Also known as ‘Palace of Winds’ was built for the royal ladies to watch the processions through the myriad windows of the palace. This five-storied palace was also used to store arte facts by the royal family. The Hawa Mahal is the most strikingly designed monument in Jaipur built by the poet king Sawai Pratap Singh,. What is seen from the Sireh Deorhi Bazaar is the multi-niche five storey high backside of the complex. It was conceived to provide adequate vantage position behind delicate stone carved jali screens to the palace women for watching the royal processions passing through the bazaar below.

Amber Fort, Jaipur

Amber Fort is the earliest capital of the Jaipur state. The Fort is perched high on the rocky terrain of Amer and was the seat of various Maharajas of Jaipur. The palace is adorned with mirror glass work, doors with parquet ivory work, and painted maps of various Hindu pilgrimages. For seven long centuries before Jaipur was built, Amer served as the capital as Kachhwaha rulers of the old state of Dhundhar. Amer Fort is the complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, gardens and temples, which were built by Raja Man Singh, Mirza Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh over a period of about two centuries.

The palace complex rising from the placid waters of the Mootha lake is approached through a steep path, now often traversed by tourists on elephant-back, to Singh palace and Jaleb Chowk. Two flights of stairs rise from one end to the chowk, one leading to the elegant temple of Shila Mata and other to the palace complex. The image of the Mother Goddess worshipped with reverence by thousands of devotees every day was brought from Jessore in East Bengal ( now in Bangladesh ) by raja Man Singh and installed here.

The front courtyard of the palace complex is dominated by the spectacular pillared hall of the Diwan-e-Aam and the double storeyed painted gateway Ganesh Pole. Beyond the corridors and galleries on the either side of a small elegant Charbagh style garden are Sukh Niwas to its right and Jas Mandir to its left. The Jas Mandir in the upper floor combines the finest elements od mughal architecture and interior decoration in a Rajput setting with intricately carved jali screens, delicate mirror and stucco works and painted and carved dadodes. The older and simpler structures at the far end were built by Raja Man Singh in the later year of the 16th century.

City Palace

The City Palace is a historic landmark. The City Palace was the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur in the eighteenth century and part of the magnificent palace is still the residence of royalty. The palace showcases world’s largest silver containers which were carried by the Maharaja for water on his foreign voyage. The carved arches are supported by grey-white marble columns studded with floral motifs in gold and coloured stones. Two elephants carved in marble guard the entrance, where retainers whose families have served generations of rulers are at hand to serve as guides.

The palace interior houses a Museum containing select collection of various types of Rajasthani dresses, a fascinating armoury of Mughal and Rajput weapons; swords of all shapes and sizes, with chased handles, some of them inlaid, enamelled, encrusted with jewels and encased in bold and magnificent scabbards.

It also has an art gallery with a fine collection of paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit, acquired by Sawai Jai Singh-II for his study of planets and their movements.

Nahargarh Fort

The ‘Tiger Fort’, is believed to be the palace used by the then royalty on their hunting escapades. The Nahargarh Fort was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh in 1734. According to a legend, the Fort was named after a prince whose spirit used to haunt the site and would cause mischief so as to delay the construction of the fort. Beyond the hills of Jaigarh stand the Fort of Nahargarh like a watchful sentinel guarding Sawai Jai Singh’s beautiful city. Much of the original structures are now in ruins, but the lovely building added by sawai Ram Singh II and Sawai Madho Singh II still survive.

Jaigarh Fort

One of the most spectacular forts of India, Jaigarh is rooted on the rocky terrain of Aravallis in Amer. Jaigarh Fort was a centre of artillery production for the Rajputs. The western skyline is dominated by the extensive parkotas (walls), watch-towers and gateways of jaigarh. It is one of the few military structures of the mediaeval India preserved almost intact containing palaces, gardens, open and covered reservoirs, a granary, an armoury, a well-planned cannon foundry, several temples, a tall tower and a giant mounted cannon-the Jai Ban – the largest in the country.

Sargasuli

Also known as Isar Lat, this tower was erected in the mid-18th century by Maharaja Ishwari Singh to commemorate a battle victory. Ironically, Ishwari Singh was ostracized for his love of a common girl, and he is the only Kachchawaha maharaja who has not been commemorated at Gaitore. The tower dominating the skyline on the western side of Tripolia Bazaar is the highest structure in Jaipur.

Albert Museum

Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob designed it in 1876 to greet King Edward VII as Prince of Wales on his visit to India. It was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh in the year 1886 under the drought relief work of Rs 4 Lacs. This museum is the oldest museum of the State. It is situated in the beautiful garden of Jaipur city, Ram Niwas Bagh. This museum has an assortment of rare articles on its display including textiles, carpets, paintings, metal and wood crafts, pottery, arms and weapons, toys, dolls and an Egyptian mummy that belongs to the Ptolemaic Epoch. It is also known for housing the famous carpet, which portrays the scene of a Persian garden carpet with running water streams that was bought at a dear price from Shah Abbas of Persia, by Mirza Raja Jai Singh I.

Ram Niwas Bagh

A garden planned by Maharaja Ram Singh in the 19th century as a famine relief project, this extensive park consists of a zoo, aviary, herbarium museum and sports complex. An added attraction is Albert Hall, designed by Sir Swinton Jacob, a British architect who created palaces for many of the rulers of Rajasthan, and whose experiments with Indo Saracenic architecture combined elements of English and north- Indian architecture. Albert Hall is a museum and houses many curiosities.

Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh

Along the road to Agra through a narrow garge in the southern eastern corner of the walled city, several landscaped gardens were constructed by the Kings and important courtiers in the 18th and 19th centuries. The largest and the most famous is a garden built by sawai jai Singh II for his Sisodia queen-the Sisodai Rani Ka Bagh. It consists of tiered multilevel gardens, fountains, pools, some gorgeous pieces of sculpture and painted pavilions.

Vidyadhar Ka Bagh

Built in the memory of Vidyadhar, the architect of the Pink City, it is situated in a narrow valley surrounded by high hills. The beautiful garden has been renovated recently. This garden was a vineyard of the former royalty. This is a terraced garden with fountains, pool and other features of a formal royal resort. The exquisite, tiered garden laid for the private pleasure of the architect of the city, it has delicated pavilions bordered by water channels, and a larger pavilion overlooking the whole complex. Located at Ghat Ki Guni, it is now let out for private picnics.

Kanak Vrindavan

The Kanak Vrindavan is not very old but definitely an exquisitely land scaped garden with a beautifully carved temple in beige stone. It is a vast complex with terrace sites all around and intricately carved marble columns and lattices. Located in the foothills of Nahargarh hills on the way towards Amber, this complex is a popular spot for picnic and film shoots. It should be definitely visited on the way to the forts of Jaipur – Nahargarh, Jaigarh and Amber. The greenery after the monsoons transforms this whole place virtually into a paradise with Jal Mahal in the back ground.

Jantar Mantar

This is the largest of the five observatories founded by Sawai Jai Singh-II in various parts of the country and built around 1727 and 1734. It has been listed in UNESCO world heritage sites. Jantar Mantar is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments that were used in early days to study the movement of sun, moon and planets to determine time. It is Constructed with stone and marble its complex instruments whose settings and shapes are precisely and scientifically designed represent the high points of Medieval Indian astronomy. The Ram Yantras used for gauging altitudes are unique in their isolation. Major Yantras or instruments that you can watch moving clockwise are: Small ‘Samrat’, ‘Dhruva’, ‘Narivalya’, The Observer’s Seat, Small ‘Kranti’, ‘Raj’ ‘Unnathamsa’, ‘Disha’, ‘Dakshina’, Large ‘Samrat’, ‘Rashivalayas’, ‘Jai Prakash’, Small ‘Ram’, Large ‘Ram Yantra’, ‘Diganta’, Large ‘Kranti’.

Dubai: Known for Its Iconic Architecture..

Dubai conjures up images of tall buildings, stunningly shaped and spectacular. The first image that comes to mind is of course the Burj Khalifa. The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa, is the epitome of all that Dubai symbolises - the motivation for creating bigger, faster, bolder structures, icons of power, class, wealth and sophistication.
·         The Burj Khalifa stands at a height of 829.8 m, and a trip to the observation deck on the 124th floor is a must-do when you get to Dubai. You can see the spectacular skyline of the city.

·         Talking about Dubai and architecture, how can one ignore the Burj Al-Arab? Standing at 321 m, it is the largest hotel in the world, and the iconic structure catches the eye because it has been designed to look like a billowing sail. When the Al-Arab is lit up at night, it is a sight that is worth travelling all the way to Dubai and capturing!

·         Another property that is also symbolic of Dubai's iconic architectural sights is the Palm Jumeirah. The project off the Jumeirah coast is designed in the shape of a palm leaf. Palm Jumeirah is one of the trio of manmade Palm Islands. The World Islands are a group of 300 man-made islands that form into a map of the world when you see I fro the air.

·         Take a tour of Dubai Marina, and you will realise that all the buildings here are jostling for your mindspace and attention. For instance, the Cayan Tower, which has a 90-degree twist. The building looks like some force has twisted it along its length. Also launched is a structure called the Sparkle Towers, which has been inspired by Swarovski crystals. The building is a take on the luxury and glitz that has now come to symbolise Dubai.

·         The Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club, is one of the city's most beautiful buildings, designed to look like the dhow. It is symbolic of the fishing and harbour heritage of Dubai.

·         If you are still looking for more examples of Dubai's iconic structures, you should check out the Al Yaqoub Tower, also called the Big Ben of Dubai. The building looks like the Big Ben of the UK, and has 69 floors and is among the top 15 tallest buildings in Dubai.

·         Have you seen the Swiss cheese building in Dubai? If not, you should. The building has been designed to look like cheese, with the outer wall resembling the Arabian mashrabiya or veil/screen to keep the building cool!

·         Last but certainly not the least, make a trip to the Dubai Mall. Not just for the shopping, but to enjoy the architectural design of the biggest shopping mall in the world.

Most Beautiful Places to Visit in Argentina.....

Argentina became independent from Spain in 1861. Its historical development was characterized by political upheavals and internal conflicts. Democratic rule finally succeeded in 1983 after several years under a military junta, but economic challenges continued to persist. Nevertheless, Argentina is a land of resilient, passionate, and forward-looking people. It is also a gifted with incomparable sights and natural bounty. Argentina is indeed of the must-see countries in South America, and here are three locations that first-time visitors should put down on their itinerary.
The progressive metropolis is Buenos Aires is the beating heart of Argentina and is therefore not a place to be missed. The city has similarities to the capital cities of Europe, but it is still a Latin American city. The city streets are busy with people going about their business, but these people are also friendly to those who choose to learn more about their beloved country. Buenos Aires is also a melting pot of influences, best manifested in the wide range of availability of international cuisine, from French to Scandinavian, to Thai and Lebanese. Local fare is affordable and always a sumptuous affair and every tourist must sit down in one of the many steakhouses or parillas for a taste of the perfect Argentinean steak.
The city is the birthplace of Tango, the world-famous steamy and sensual dance from Argentina. If anyone wants to perfect his or her moves, or want to learn to dance the tango, then Buenos Aires is the place to be. There are dance events or milongas to attend. Moreover, salons and cafes provide plenty of chances for tango enthusiasts to enjoy this form of entertainment.
The Los Glaciares National Park in the Patagonia of Argentina is a protected area that is frequented by tourists from different part of the world for a chance to see and explore the Perito Moreno Glacier. IT is located about 78 kilometers from El Calafate, or approximately two hours by bus. This glacier is one of 48 glaciers found in the Southern Patagonian Ice Field in the South American Andes. The glacier is one of the three that continues to grow. The glacier's terminus is found abutting the waters of Argentino Lake and is five kilometers wide.
Tours are available for visitors who want to view the magnificently huge body of frozen water. There is a visitor center, which offers a panoramic view of the glacier. Trekking tours are available as well for the more adventurous sort.
The body of water known in Spanish as Cataratas del Iguazú and in Portuguese as Cataratas do Iguaçu can be found on the Iguazu River at the border of Misiones (Argentina) and Parana (Brazil). Although the length of the river is mostly within the borders of Brazil, the waterfall is mostly found within Argentina. The glorious and powerful roar of flowing water is irresistible to tourists. Based on local folklore, this waterfall is believed to have been created by the rage of a deity who was betrayed by a local woman. The deity condemned the lovers to an eternal fall.

Argentina is a wonderful and exciting place to visit. Make sure that you include these amazing locations to your list.
